Some levels of the Charger come with a V-6 engine, but we love the upgrade to the powerful Hemi V-8. It hails back to the Charger’s NASCAR roots with it’s loud and rowdy sounds. Every engine comes with an excellent eight-speed automatic transmission with standard rear-wheel drive.
Fuel Economy
Even though the Charger is beefy and heavy, it’s not the biggest gas guzzler. Its MPG is competitive and the Charger can get around 25 MPG on the highway.
Interior
While some people may prefer a more luxurious interior, we love its classic muscle car look. It is extremely functional, with a 7 or 8.4 inch entertainment control screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and storage for plenty of items. While its total passenger space is less than some other vehicles, it does have plenty of rear-seat legroom that is missing in some of its rivals.
Safety Features
The Dodge Charger received a 5 star overall safety rating from the NHTSA! They also have an array of available driver-assistance technology to upgrade your ride. Features they have available include adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alerts, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking.
