With summer right around the corner, the Ross Park Aquatic Complex will be opening soon! Read more to find out more about the Ross Park Aquatic Complex in Pocatello, Idaho.
The RPAC will be re-opening for the 2022 summer on May 28th! The complex strives to be a gathering place for people of all ages, with activities for everyone to enjoy. The RPAC is a reflection of the ideas of our local leaders and citizens coming together to create a great recreational experience.
The complex features a 25 yard by 25 meter main pool. Here there are two lap lanes that are always open for swimmers. There is a separate activity pool with a cargo net, a basketball hoop, and lily pads to jump on. For those really little ones, there is a zero—depth pool with a playground for them to safely play on. If you’re looking to kick back and relax, you can float peacefully down the lazy river and soak up the sun.
Outside of the pool, there is a concession stand. Here you can stock up on all the drinks and snacks your family will need. There is also a large open deck and turf area with plenty of open space to spread your towel or place a chair to sunbathe in. For your convenience, there are also dressing/locker rooms and two family changing areas.
The pool hosts many events throughout the summer! One we especially love is the Lazy River Resistance Walking. Here you can get a great workout without lots of strain on your joints and muscles. They also offer a Sensory-Friendly Family Swim Day for our community members with sensory issues to be able to enjoy the pool!
These are just a few things we love about the Ross Park Aquatic Complex in Pocatello, Idaho. Let us know in the comments what you like about the RPAC!
